PRESIDENTA retired Army Officer, I bring a wealth of discipline and leadership to my professional and social life. With a lifelong commitment to service, I’ve been actively involved in community organizations since childhood, striving to make a positive impact in the lives of others. My experiences in the military and engineering have shaped my problem-solving skills and fostered a strong sense of responsibility. Above all, I take great pride in being a father of two, cherishing every moment spent nurturing their growth and values. My journey reflects a dedication to both professional excellence and community service.

GENERAL SECRETARYWith 25 years of experience in Marine transport, I’ve navigated both the seas and the waves of community service across Bangladesh, Singapore and Australia. As a dedicated sportsman, I believe in the power of teamwork, whether on the field or in advocacy. I'm passionate about uplifting the Bangladeshi community and work tirelessly to create opportunities and foster connections. Combining my professional expertise with a heart for service, I’m committed to making a positive impact wherever the tide takes me.
CULTURAL SECRETARYGrowing up in Brisbane, BAB was a cornerstone of my life. It offered me opportunities I wouldn't have otherwise pursued, like performing in dramas, dancing, and singing at the tender age of 7. The various sporting competitions also instilled in me a strong sense of community and belonging. My volunteering journey began in school, where I participated in small groups to create yearbooks and videos. After completing my studies, I continued volunteering with the Red Cross. My passion for giving back led me to start small football, cricket, and tennis clubs or teams. I hope to leverage my knowledge and deep-rooted connections within the Bangladeshi community of Brisbane to contribute meaningfully to BAB and make it an even better organization.
SPORTS SECRETARYI started my journey in Australia as a PhD student and am now working as a registered professional engineer. I can relate to life expectations from different stages as an immigrant. I enjoy all sorts of sports and strongly believe that sporting events can bring communities together and create a harmonious society. My intention as a Sports EC is to facilitate various sporting platforms where community members can participate and get the most out of their BAB membership.
